Mapelec® SSC-01 is a single-component acrylic paint offering a resistivity of <50 mΩ/sq and effective electromagnetic shielding starting from 10 µm thickness, requiring dilution before application.
Mapelec® SC-EPX is a two-component epoxy coating filled with silver-coated copper (Ag/AgCu). It achieves a surface resistivity below 50 mΩ/sq on various substrates such as ABS, polycarbonate, as well as more challenging substrates like composite polyamides or flame-treated polypropylene. It also adheres well to metal surfaces. Drying can be done at room temperature or accelerated by heat. The polymer matrix of Mapelec® SC-EPX offers excellent abrasion and chemical resistance. However, the coating is not suitable for use in corrosive environments.
This product is sold as a base and hardener kit in 5 kg or 1 kg formats.
