Mapelec® SSC-01 is a single-component solvent-based acrylic coating loaded with pure silver and silver-plated copper (Ag/AgCu). It achieves a surface resistivity of less than 50 mΩ/sq on a wide range of plastic substrates. Easy to apply, Mapelec® SSC-01 provides significant electromagnetic shielding effectiveness with a deposited thickness of only 20 µm. The base must be diluted with FD00900 – DILUANT D900 thinner at a ratio of 30 to 60% w/w, depending on application conditions.

For certain low-surface-energy plastics, such as polyolefins and some polyamides, a primer may be required to ensure adhesion. Please refer to our technical data sheet for complete application instructions and contact us for any specific technical inquiries.

Mapelec® Conductive Coatings with Silver-Plated Copper offer exceptional surface resistivity of less than 0.05 Ω/sq. This carefully engineered combination of the two metals delivers the outstanding conductivity of silver while leveraging the cost efficiency of copper, ensuring an optimal price-to-performance ratio. Our range is designed with various copper-to-silver ratios to meet the majority of technical specifications. However, this range is not recommended for highly corrosive environments due to the lower corrosion resistance of copper.

These electromagnetic shielding paints, compliant with the GAM T-20 standard, provide highly effective EMI/RFI shielding across a broad spectrum, protecting your equipment from interference and ensuring optimal performance.
