Mapelec® BN-1 is a two-component solvent-based polyurethane paint loaded with highly conductive treated nickel. It achieves a surface resistivity of less than 500 mΩ/sq on a wide range of plastic substrates. Each kit includes a base and hardener, which should be mixed and allowed to mature for 30 minutes before application. To extend the shelf life of the mixture, our FDIL7070 Mapelec®-B thinner (available in 1 L cans) can be used up to 15% w/w of the base amount.

For certain low-surface-energy plastics, such as polyolefins and some polyamides, an adhesion primer may be required. Refer to our technical data sheet for complete application instructions and contact us for specific technical inquiries.
